The Tale of Two TTs
AnAn is a full-time working mom who, despite career ambitions en masse, wishes she could spare more time channeling her inner domestic goddess - planning parties, trying out recipes with her young daughters and potting herbs in the garden. Just don't expect her to toil all day baking cookies in a frumpy caftan. Sure, she'll bake the cookies -she just doesn't do frumpy.
AnAn’s a big believer in quality but she’s not hung up on labels. She prefers multitasking pieces which can go from day to night, work to weekend that complement the many hats (fashion pun intended) she wears. Printed skirts and dresses that feel feminine but not froufrou are also favourites. An avid fan of vintage, she frequently scours (and scores!) internet sites for stylish, one of a kind bargains. Her ultimate fashion soft spot, however, is for shoes. Never met a pair she didn’t like.
ChiChi is a professional living and working in the big city with a penchant for desserts, 80s disco music and home decorating. She also enjoys the occasional lunchtime and weekend shopping sprees with AnAn.
ChiChi’s fashion philosophy is a mix of the high (like her precious Chanel 2.55 bag, a hand-me-down btw - thanks Ma!) and low (vintage tops). And although she tends to steer towards black, she likes to combine the classic pieces with the whimsical. She is as passionate about style as she is about the other love of her life: her family.
"Be always at war with your vices,
At peace with your neighbors,
And let each New Year find you a better man."
- Benjamin Franklin, US Founding Father & polymath (1706-1790)
