Whether it’s joining the gym, spending less or saving more, most people make new personal milestone targets each time another new year rolls in. Our very belated one for 2013 can pretty much be summed up by this quote:

Have a great 2013 everyone!

“Maybe young women don’t wonder whether they can have it all any longer, but in case any of you are wondering, of course you can have it all.

What are you going to do? Everything, is my guess. It will be a little messy, but embrace the mess. It will be complicated, but rejoice in the complications. It will not be anything like what you think it will be like, but surprises are good for you.

And don’t be frightened: You can always change your mind. I know: I’ve had four careers and three husbands.”

- the late Nora Ephron's thoughts on whether a woman can have it all. Indeed we can!

Our footwear expenses have now been well-justifed. Heck, we can all do with a whole lot more shoes fun in our lives ;) Gotta love Carrie Bradshaw!

"I can resist everything except temptation." - Oscar Wilde

"Be always at war with your vices,
At peace with your neighbors,
And let each New Year find you a better man."
- Benjamin Franklin, US Founding Father & polymath (1706-1790)

Happy New Year everyone!

We had just celebrated another birthday recently, and while some people dread the thought of being a year older, we think it is indeed a privilege to have made it through another year! After all, age is nothing but a number :) And even though like all mere mortal beings we have those "could've, should've, would've" moments, all in all, there are few regrets. We are just so thankful to have reached another meaningful milestone in our lives with our loved ones, in good health and good stead. May there be many, many more.
