Can't help but notice how fabulous Sandra Bullock's been looking lately. We're totally loving her outfit choices both on the red carpet and off.  To put it simply, we're absolutely inspired! (read: need.gladiator.heels.now) Her sartorial picks are trendy, yet age-appropriate and smouldering with sex appeal.  Currently busy promoting her latest movie The Heat, Sandra B. is certainly turning the style thermostat right on UP!

It is undoubtedly one of the most memorable commencement speeches of all time and reflects the brilliance, passion and energy that is Steve Jobs. Like everything else that he has done, it continues to be quoted, revered and referenced even to this day.

Adele literally brought the house down with her beautiful rendition of Bonnie Raitt's classic ballad at the iTunes Festival that was held in London recently. And since both Adele and the song are personal favourites, we  simply had to share it with you....enjoy!





Okay, so all the hoopla and excitement surrounding the Royal Wedding is all but over, and even though we're a few days late, we simply couldn’t resist putting in our two cents, so do bear with us! You've gotta love the storyline - a girl from a middle class background marries the man of her dreams, who also happens to be second in line to the British throne. We were among the two billion people on this planet who were glued to the telly on April 29th 2011 to witness the most anticipated wedding of the year. We thought the ceremony went on as smoothly as any wedding party could ever wish for. Even the unpredictable English weather managed to behave itself perfectly that day! Prince William looked dapper and added a pop of colour in his bright red Irish Guards uniform and Kate Middleton looked absolutely happy, radiant and regal. We loved the fact that she did her own makeup too! And what about that wedding dress? It was much simpler than what we’d expected, nevertheless, the newly anointed Duchess of Cambridge took our breath away in the stunning Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen wedding gown. The simple lines of the dress, the veil, the tiara and even the bouquet were totally modern but at the same time, the intricate handmade lace and embroidery details are a great nod to British craftsmanship and tradition. Every detail was local, and Burton described the dress as "marrying traditional fabrics and lacework with a modern structure and design." Simply UH-ma-zing. She who famously does not employ a stylist, is hot commodity on and off the Gossip Girl set – she’s just been named by Karl Lagerfeld as the face of Chanel and in December, won Vogue’s fashion seal of approval – they named her as one of the best dressed ladies of 2010 and put her on the cover of their special issue.

America’s sweetheart and country music phenom Taylor Swift may be easy on the eyes, but she’s no show pony. On the contrary, this girl’s got some serious credentials under her belt. And so it seems that Taylor has an ingénue appeal and BFF-relatability that's hard not to swoon over! Her personal style has a touch of witty romance and that certain not-a-girl-but-not-yet-a-woman youthful energy.
