We're really loving the Raya collections showcased by our very own homegrown designers this year. Needless to say we were blown away by their talent - we found ourselves practically frothing at the mouth oggling at their amazing lookbooks and going oooh and aaah over how talented designers like Rizman Ruzaini and Izrin Iz of Innai Red, just to name a few, had put their creative twist on the traditional baju kebaya, kurung, and caftans to produce modern, covetable and totally wearable pieces.

It was also hard not to get excited about recent collaborations between the creme de la creme of Malaysian fashion talents namely Rizalman Ibrahim, Jovian Mandagie and Radzuan Radziwill with various mass and online retailers to produce budget-friendly Raya lines.  Perhaps inspired by the hysteria-inducing collaborations overseas such as Lanvin Hearts H&M, and Missoni for Target, for the first time ever, high fashion has gone high street in Malaysia! We think this is a massive step forward for the fashion industry, and a business savvy decision which can keep consumers happy and craving for more.  Definitely a win-win situation for everyone. Apparently these designer collaborations were all astounding successes, so here's hoping to many more! Exciting times are ahead for Malaysian fashion, that's for sure. We can just feel it in our bones.

Whenever we’re digging a particular clothing item which also seems to fit in really well with the rest of our wardrobe staples, we have the tendency to stock up the exact same thing in a bunch of other colours too (the proof is right here, here and here!).  Our trusty DVF wrap dresses, Ferragamo Varas, BCBG empire tops, Ralph Lauren polos, basic Gap tees in multiple colours and prints, have sort of become our go-to casual/off-day ‘uniform’ since we  wear them so often and love 'em with such passion.  The logic behind buying in multiples is that it makes life sooooo much easier for working moms like us who refuse to cramp our style just because we rarely have the luxury of time figuring out what to wear. So why fix something that’s not broken? Take it from the Twins - it's ok to just go with what you know already works. Better still, double (or triple) up if you have the chance ;)

Twice as nice. The eye-catching contrast of the white crepe-trimmed neckline and button tabs set these tops apart. Whether paired with skinny jeans or tucked into pencil skirts, these ultra versatile tops will no doubt become sleek updates to your classic basics.

V-neck tops with contrasting white trim at neckline and button tabs. Button details at front. Short sleeves. Relaxed fit with banded hem. Simply slips on. In excellent condition.
